July 30 -7 am start –Nursery/Open-Hilltop and WCC runs
Handler’s Dinner at Grasslands Inn-7pm
July31- 7 am start – Open/Nursery-Hilltop and WCC runs
Trade fair at Community hall – 10 am to 5:00 pm
Aug 1 – 8:00 am start –Western Canadian Championships-Nursery Sudden Death (top 5)followed by Double Lift/Provincial Driving competition.

Field Trial Location-At Mankota, turn north at stop sign (beside Grasslands Inn) – follow signs.

Judge-Michael Gallagher - Ireland

To qualify for the Western Canadian Championships (double lift), the open dog will have had to
finish in the top half of an ISDS typetrial held in one of the Western provinces between
Jan 1,2015 to June 29, 2016 (trial must be noted). Double lift WCC finalists/Hilltop Trial finalists will be the top 4 accumulated (determined first) and the top 3 from each open run. The handler must be a member of one of the western Canadian provinces (B.C., Alta, Sask, Man) prior to the trial which the dog qualifies in to qualify for WCC. For Nursery dogs to qualify in WCC sudden death, the owner must be a member of one of the Western provinces and have competed at a Western province run event prior to July 20, 2016. Hilltop Nursery Class is for dogs eligible to compete in 2016 Nursery events.
FEES – Open Jul 29 Hilltop Run - $60/WCC only $150/WCC plus Hilltop Jul 30, 31- $200 /WCC plus all Hilltop runs -$260
Nursery dog –Hilltop Trial - $40, WCC only $100/ WCC plus Hilltop Jul 30, 31- $150/ WCC plus all Hilltop Nursery runs -$190
Pro Novice - $50 per run-possibility of 2 runs

Unless death or medical condition, no monies will be refunded if entries no show. Monies will be refunded
prior to deadline date only, NO DOG SUBSTITUTIONS.
General Agreement
In consideration that my dog(s) and I will be participating in the above named stock dog trial, I understand that I am responsible for any and all costs incurred as a result of damages caused by myself, my family or my dogs to the facilities, animals and/or people. I hereby agree that in the event of personal injury or damage to my property or animals, I will not hold the Saskatchewan Stock Dog Association (SSDA), the owners of the livestock, sponsors, volunteers/helpers or property owners responsible. Replacement ewe costs are $250.
