JP SIGNS WARRANTS FOR COURT DODGERS

La Salle County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Vicki Rodriguez is signing arrest warrants this week for a number of defendants who have failed to make court appearances or meet other court obligations after being cited on misdemeanor and other charges.

The following should present themselves immediately at the JP’s office on Center Street in downtown Cotulla and have forfeited the right to make arrangements by telephone:

GinaRaeAguero,24, of Jourdanton, Texas; driving while license is suspended or not valid.

CodyLaneAguilar,59, of Lytle, Texas; failing to maintain financial responsibility, speeding.

TitoAlbertoGarcia,27, of Laredo; failing to maintain financial responsibility, driving while license is suspended or not valid, speeding.

CarlosAlbertoGonzalez,27, of Cotulla; violating a promise to appear in court (two counts), driving without a license (two counts), seatbelt violation, speeding.

MyrtaGalvanMartinez,53, of Cotulla; disregarding a signal at a railroad crossing, disregarding a stop sign or traffic signal.

CrystalOlvera,31, of Cotulla; failing to appear in court, contributing to non-attendance (two counts).

AngelicaReneeRios,26, of Cotulla; violating a promise to appear in court, failing to maintain financial responsibility.

JuanRamiroSosaJr.,20, of Cotulla; violating a promise to appear in court (two counts), window tint violations, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license is not valid (three counts), passing in a no-passing zone, failing to maintain financial responsibility.

MiguelAngelTorres,40, of Dallas; violating a promise to appear in court, speeding, driving without a license.

JoeDelmiroVillanueva,51, of Pearsall; speeding.

Those for whom warrants are being signed will be subject to arrest at home, at work, or in the course of a traffic stop if they are identified by a sheriff’s deputy, officer of the Cotulla Patrol Division, state trooper, constable or other law enforcement officer. Additional misdemeanor charges may be filed against those who fail to cooperate with court orders.
