Following this spring's release of their debut How Do You Feel? EP and a recent run of shows withThe Killers, Joywave are back today to share the video for their song "Tongues," which waspremiered online yesterday via SPIN Magazine and on TV last night via REVOLT. Directed byacclaimed directing duo The Daniels (DJ Snake + Lil Jon, Passion Pit, Foster The People) and Zak Stoltz, the videofinds the band making their acting debut as they attempt to clothe a mass of free-lovingnudists.

Speaking about the video's inspiration, The Daniels said, "We wanted to take the trend of putting 'naked chicks' in music videos then turn that into the silliest most unexpected thing possible. Theidea made us and the band laugh...we hope other people laugh too." The concept was perfect for theband, as well, as the idea put forth by The Daniels realized their desire to "satirize the past five yearsof videos for 'indie pop summer smashes' where a bunch of suburban kids put facepaintand feathers on and run around in nature acting free-spiritedfor the afternoon. It's poking fun at thiscliched concept, and in a really, really absurd way."

The video also comes in conjunction with today's release of their EP on vinyl and the band'sannouncement of summer tour dates, which include appearances at NXNE, Lollapalooza andOsheaga Festival in addition to a short run of shows with Vacationer.
