Who You Are.

As our HR Business Partner you will serves as a consultant in operational business issues and drive culture transformation, including increasing point of impact management. You are able to proactively assess and communicate needs and collaboratively work with global HR and line management in the development of integrated and sustainable solutions. In this position you will:

•Works closely with management and employees to increase productivity, improve work relationships, build morale all of which will lead to greater retention.

•Partner with the Recruiter and management teams to source and staff a diverse and highly-skilled workforce as well as provide guidance and input on business unit workforce planning and succession planning.

•Identify training needs and individual leadership coaching needs as well as conduct in-house training courses.

•Meet with managers/supervisors on a regular basis to review current/future organizational and employee issues.

•Assist with and resolve employee issues that range from initial guidance to conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations, including performance management guidance to managers/supervisors (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

•Oversee plant Safety and Health program.

•Maintain HR information systems and records in accordance with HRIS and standard record-keeping guidelines.

You have:

•Strong business literacy skills along with a strong ability to effectively plan and achieve results directly and/or through influencing others

•Clear and approachable verbal and written communication skills

•Excellent ability to develop strong trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results

•Demonstrated strategies for multi-tasking and managing conflicting priorities under stressful time sensitive situations

•Knowledge of federal and state employment law pertaining to the specific area(s) of responsibility

•Safety management experience

•Proficient user of MS Office applications and windows-based HRIS software

•Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or business field or equivalent of experience and training that provides required knowledge, skills and abilities

•Minimum (5) five years of experience in Human Resources with (2) two years in the generalist function

•Required working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including recruiting, compensation practices, organizational development, employee relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws etc.

•Relevant industry experiences a plus
