SHORE EXCURSIONS
John Hall’s Alaska offers guided walking tours in Ketchikan and Juneau. Other shore excursions are available to guests from the company’s cruise partners at an additional cost.

There is a wide range to choose from depending on the tour and the destination, with options including:

  • Dog sledding, glacier flightseeing and White Pass scenic railway in Skagway
  • Salmon sportfishing adventure and Taku Glacier hovercraft adventure in Juneau
  • Bering Sea crab fishing tour and Saxman Native Village in Ketchikan
  • Stream fishing and the world’s longest zipline at Icy Strait Point

Shore excursions are included in every port for guests participating in an Alaskan Dream Cruises product.

CUSTOM ITINERARIES
As Alaska specialists, John Hall’s Alaska has the distinct ability to assist guests with customizing existing tour packages to fit the guest’s desires. Large groups may charter motor coaches to participate in an existing departure or create their own tour agenda. Customized group charters will include a John Hall’s Alaska tour manager who is also an Alaska resident.

Land and Cruise packages include all meals, accommodations, activities, transportation via land, rail, sea and small plane (where applicable), fully guided service via Alaska residents who are industry professionals, baggage handling, taxes, transfers, fees and a personalized John Hall’s Alaska blue windbreaker jacket for each guest. Shore excursions are included for guests participating in an Alaskan Dream Cruises product.

GUIDES
John Hall’s Alaska’s Land Tour Managers are all highly qualified and experienced Alaska professionals who live in Alaska year-round as residents of the state. John Hall’s Alaska Cruise Managers are highly qualified with years of Alaska cruising experience. All tour packages will include a Land Tour Manager and, if cruising, a Cruise Manager.

GROUP PRICING
Travelers on Cruise Tours or Land Only Tours can qualify for a “Friends and Family” discount by reserving multiple cabins, with savings passed along to the first 2 persons in each cabin:

  • 2-3 cabins – $50 per person
  • 4-7 cabins – $100 per person
  • 8-11 cabins – $150 per person
  • 12 or more – “even better” group pricing
  • Private departure on any tour with 32 passengers
