JOB TITLE: Wealth Planner
REPORTS TO: Director – Wealth Planning
JOB SUMMARY
The Wealth Planner will support the Director of Wealth Planninginprovidingfamily wealth planning (including strategic and tactical financial plans and forecasts, balance sheet management, general wealth management and financial analysis), investment portfolio management, trust analysis, and general planning administration. Furthermore, this role will partner with other internal investment, accounting and business functions to integrate information and provide analytics with the ultimate goal of assisting family members in achieving their personal and financial objectives.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Wealth Planning
- Generate comprehensivepersonal financial projections (“Wealth Plans”)which include projected balance sheets, cash flows, debt structure, deferred compensation arrangements and philanthropic giving by working closely with the Director of Wealth Planning
- Assist with client meetings by preparation of meeting agendas/materials, client paperwork, portfolio reviews, financial analysis, and post-client meeting tasks
- Involvement in ad hoc financial planning, forecast and budgeting projects
- Assist in organizing family member estate plans including analyzing asset titles, updating beneficiary designations, and diagraming trust documents
- Assist with personal insurance reviews and paperwork
- Assist in estate, trust and entity administration
- Involvement in ad hoc administration projects
Portfolio Management
- Maintain client accounts (money movement requests, transfers, account applications, and other administrative account paperwork)
- Implement investment ideas
- Involvement in ad hoc investment projects and research
Cash and Debt Management
- Forecast and manage family cash requirements
- Work with the Director of Wealth Planning to facilitate efficient use of debt
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Certifications
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economicsrequired
- CFP/CPAdesignation preferred
Skills
- Emphasize high quality customer service
- Self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize tasks with little direction and commitment to getting the job done
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Excellent organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to details and multi-tasking
- Excellent decision-making skills

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power Point applications
- Familiarity with accounting, financial, and investment applications including Solomon, F9, Axys, and Bloomberg
Experience
- 3-5 years working in Family Office/Multi-Family Office/Private Bank/Wealth Management providing the following:
- Financial planning and integration of multiple financial disciplines to assist clients in making financial decisions
- Financialmodeling and analysis
- Trust administration
- Investment analysis and management
