Job Title: Shuttle Bus Driver

Job Area: Bus/Parking Area

Department: Base Area Operations

Reports To: Parking Lot Supervisor

Overview of Position: A Shuttle Bus Driver is responsible for the safe transport of guests in the Parking Lots and between Windham Mountain Resort destinations. As the first point of contact for our guests as they arrive at Windham Mountain Resort, Shuttle Bus Drivers have a high degree of guest contact and must leave our guests with an exceptional first impression.

Job Qualifications:

q  Must be a minimum age of 21.

q  Must possess at least a Class C Commercial Driver's License with a passenger endorsement.

q  Must not have any driving violations on record.

q  Must be alert, reliable and willing to learn.

q  Must enjoy and be comfortable interacting with both guests and employees in a friendly and helpful manner.

q  Must be able to safely pick up, transport, and deliver guests.

q  Must be able to lift skis/boards repeatedly.

q  Must maintain a clean and professional appearance.

Job Duties: The list below best represents many of the tasks you will be asked to perform at some time during your employment at Windham Mountain Resort. This list of duties is not intended to represent all of the tasks you may be asked to perform, however Windham Mountain Resort will never require you to perform a task that is inherently unsafe or that you are not adequately trained to perform.

q  Transport guests to and from the pick up to drop off area, Tubing Park and Winwood Inn.

q  Assist guests with loading and unloading of equipment.

q  Ensure that vehicles are safe to operate.

q  Ensure that vehicles have the appropriate supplies.

q  Provide guests with accurate information on conditions, events, program, and brochure.

q  Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle.

q  Identify and address potential hazards.

Work Schedule and Conditions: We are in the business of providing a quality product and experience for our guests. Traditionally our busy periods are during weekends and holiday periods which you will be expected to work. You can also expect to be asked to work extra hours or days on occasion, especially during the holiday periods.

We will attempt to offer consecutive days off and accommodate special scheduling requests, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to satisfy all requests. We expect employees to arrive promptly.

Dress Code:

q  Name Tag must always be worn – no exceptions.

q  Must be neat and clean – shower daily, nails clean: overall approachable appearance.

q  Medium to Dark Wash Jeans with no tears/holes worn at or above the hipbones.

q  Uniform Jacket (issued) and/or Blue Windham Mountain Resort Shirt (issued) must be your showing layer; may wear a white shirt underneath.

q  Hats are not an item included in the uniform, however if one chooses to wear a hat, it must be a black Windham Mountain Resort hat.

Note: you will be required to sign an employee handbook if Windham Mountain hires you. If you are hired, please take time to read through it for a thorough description of Windham Mountain’s procedures and policies. Please ask your supervisor if you have questions so that you understand the content of the handbook before you sign it.
