Job Title:Service Assistant
Based at:Gloucestershire Community Meals – Stonehouse or Cheltenham
Reports to:Service Manager
Job Purpose: To deliver meals to service users in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- To deliver meals to service users in accordance with a service level agreement.
- To ensure that the correct food is delivered or reheated at the correct temperature to the service user.
- To complete safe and well checks in accordance with organisation operating procedure for each service user when a meal is delivered.
- To manage the reconciliation of monies collected from customers and issue receipts in accordance with operating policy and procedures.
- To provide a high standard of customer care and professionalism.
- To ensure yourown vehicle is clean, tidy and road worthy.
- To ensure that all appropriate food and health and safety practices are implemented and followed to meet statutory and organisation operating standards.
- To operate within the context of Royal Voluntary Service policies and procedures
- Any other ad hoc duties relating to the service.
