Job title: Senior Client Servicing Manager / Senior Project Coordinator

We are currently looking for a results-oriented senior manager to fill the key position of Senior Client Servicing Manager on the European Commission projects. He/she must be a team player who operates comfortably in multi-cultural teams, with experience managing people and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Example of the projects DS is running for EC is listed below:

1.  China IPR SME Helpdesk

2.  ASEAN IPR SME Helpdesk

3.  DG Trade FWC: provision of full logistical support to organise events, conferences, seminars and meetings mainly in the context of European Trade policy activities in the European Union and third countries.

4.  DG Agri FWC: Organisation of Promotion events and high level trade visits and communication activities in third countries

5.  Better Training Safer Food – Training series for DG Sanco

General qualifications

·  Strong analytical skills

·  Excellent computer skills

·  Preferably experience in working successfully in multi-cultural teams

·  Relevant experience in overseas assignments

·  Good interpersonal and communication skills

·  Native English Speaker Preferred

·  Extensive drafting experience in English

·  Highly organised

Specific Qualifications and skills

-  University degree in a discipline relevant to the scope of the assignment such as business administration, economics, international relations or other relevant subjects

-  Ability to communicate convincingly and diplomatically with a wide range of contacts and strong public speaking and presentation skills and effectively engage stakeholders

-  Ability to manage a team of international and national Consultants in a results-oriented manner

-  Outstanding management skills

-  Ability to manage relations with a wide variety of beneficiaries and stakeholders

-  Ability to represent the Centre to its stakeholders

-  Capacity to lead the development and implementation of a strategy for the overall development of the Beijing office as agreed with the Company Director

Specific professional experience

-  minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience
