Job title: Regional Development Executive

Main purpose of role:

To provide efficient support to the Regional Development department bysupporting our network of volunteer fundraising managers, supporters and volunteers; and delivering a high quality development, supporter care and administration service.

Main tasks and responsibilities

1. Supporter Services

  • Serving as point of contact for supporters, handling enquiries from our Fundraising Hotline and Fundraising Inbox within agreed SLA’s.
  • Ongoing usage of Raisers Edge database to support fundraising activity and to ensure a high level of service to our volunteers/supporters.
  • Manage the team’s compliance with the supporter journey/registration processes providing administrative support where necessary.
  • To provide account management services to named family funds, fundraising groups and branches.
  • In conjunction with relevant Regional Development Managers to review weekly thanking and monthly engagement reports and to take necessary follow up actions.

2. Product management and events marketing

  • Lead on specific projects (which may include the Great North Run, Move a Mile for Muscles and Make Today Count) including developing and implementing project plans for each activity.
  • To develop and implement marketing plans for key initiatives.
  • To ensure all key stakeholders are involved in decision making and objectives are met.

3. Volunteer management

  • Work with the second Regional Development Executive and the Supporter Services Executive to recruit, induct and manage a team of office based volunteers to support administrative and development tasks.

4. Fulfilment:

  • Management of the department’s website My Target MD, which allows volunteers and supporters to create personalised branded fundraising materials and to manage our offline fundraising materials including undertaking regular stock takes and ordering replacement materials.
  • Manage a team of office based volunteers to provide Fulfilment services as required, to include pick, pack and despatch of items.

5. Providing support

  • Producing suite of management and fundraising reports on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • To produce copy for the monthly e-newsletter and quarterly Target magazine.
  • To support Head of department with preparations for national team meetings.
  • To assist Supporter Services team with income processing during peak periods.
  • To process donations onto Raisers Edge.
