Summary: This position is responsible for thermoforming and/or nonwoven production activities. Will work to ensure that machines run safely, at rate and producing a quality product. Work to identify issues that may create problems on the equipment before they arise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·  Able to assist with the operation of production equipment that creates a quality product or

single-handedly operate 1 or more production areas

·  Follow all standard work instructions and safety guidelines

·  Assists in setup and or adjustments of machines as needed

·  Assist co-workers in solving work problems and or brings them to shift lead and supervisors attention

·  Insure production records are filled out timely and accurately within work area

·  Seek clarification of production and quality related concerns or issues

·  Other duties and projects as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Competencies: Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly; comprehend written and verbal instruction. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to learn and understand manufacturing computer applications. Follow instructions. Work as a member of a team as well as independently.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively to co-workers and all levels of management.

Education and/or Experience: High School or equivalent preferred. Experience in manufacturing industry preferred but optional.

Physical Demands: Constant and frequent standing and/or walking. Fine hand manipulation, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Occasional lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment: General manufacturing production environment, 12 hour/4 day shift rotations with overtime as needed/ required. Environment to include with constant loud noise and potential for exposure to occasional high ambient temperatures. High noise exposure due to the numerous machines that are running at one time. The use of personal protective equipment is required; ear/ hearing protection, safety glasses and various means of additional protection in accordance with the personal protective standards for the company and regulatory compliance.
