Job Title:Corporate Fundraiser

Salary:Grade G: £23,864 - £27,109 per annum

(dependent on relevant skills and experience)

Hours:37.5hoursper week

Fixed Term:Maternity cover

Base:Sustrans offices in central Bristol

Purpose of Job:

To work closely with the Director of Retail, Fundraising& Mapping Services andbe responsible for developing and managing all corporate fundraising activity. This will comprise the full range of corporate fundraising techniques such as sponsorship, employee fundraising, affinity marketing, cause related marketing and payroll giving. To work within clear ethical guidelines and in close conjunction with colleagues to deliver workplace programmes being responsible for all stages of this work from research to preparing proposals and pitching where necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To research, identify and prioritise new potential corporate supporters.
  2. To manage and fully develop existing partnerships so as to maximise income potential.
  3. To oversee the production of promotional materials and presentations as required.
  4. To build relationships with key corporate personnel.
  5. To attend meetings and events across the UK as required.
  6. To manage communications with current and potential corporate supporters.
  7. To work closely with the Fundraising Analyst & Database Manager to ensure that all information is clearly logged within the Donorflex database system and that financial and supporter records are maintained and accessible.
  8. To liaise closely with all Sustrans departments that also work within the Corporate market such as Business Development Unit , Smarter Choicesprogramme and Volunteer team.
  9. To ensure that all corporate partnerships are screened to ensure they conform to our ethical guidelines.
  10. To provide reports and financial analysis for the Director of Retail, Fundraising & Mapping Services as required.
  11. To organise corporate cultivation events as required.
  12. To oversee the production of merchandise for corporate partners
  13. To prepare the annual budget.
  14. To keep the charity’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other internal information management systems up to date.
  15. To support and comply with the organisation's Policy for the management of Health and Safety.
  16. To work in accordance with the arrangements described in the organisation's health and safety management system including any project or department specific requirements.
  17. To undertake other duties or tasks as required.

Working Conditions:

The post will be based at Sustrans head office in Bristol.

Criteria / Essential
Qualifications, education and training / Educated to degree level or equivalent
Experience / Significant experience of corporate fundraising or account management
Experience of managing relationships with a variety of suppliers such as merchandise, print and design
Proven experience of developing external partnerships and building successful relationships
Proven experience of successfully planning and managing own workload
Skills and abilities / Excellent IT literacy, including database use
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent presentation skills and the ability to present to a variety of audiences
