Job Title:Administration Officer– GDPR & Social Media

(General Data Protection Regulation)

Role Purpose:To provide administrative assistance to the Management and Board of the North Wall CDP in ensuring GDPR meets new requirements. To ensure the North Wall CDP and Little Treasures Community Creche GDPR policies and procedures are being followed and adhered to at all times.

Maintain & update North Wall CDP Website and Social Media.

Reports to:General Manager

Supervisor:Community Employment Supervisor

GDPR Duties:

  • Collate and manage all documentation in relation to GDPR and submit reports as required.
  • Carry out regular audits and advise management of concerns around Data Protection and Confidentiality.
  • Maintain & foster a relationship with designated personnel in relation to all GDPR matters.
  • Ensure all NWCDP staff are fully aware of confidentiality and privacy requirements relating toGDPR. Assist staff members understand and complete relevant documents.
  • Keep records of updates and changes to North Wall CDP’s Data Protection policy.
  • Advise management of action which needs to be taken safeguard personal information held by North Wall CDP.
  • Ensure all GDPR documentation is filled appropriately in a locked cabinet and in a secure location.
  • Liaise with senior staff regarding permissions to share information and photographs e.g. with other community groups, government providers or on social media.
  • Regularly monitor website and Facebook page to ensure there is no breach of confidentiality.
  • Assist Management in writing/updating policies and procedures.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Social Media & Website Duties:

  • Maintain and update North Wall CDP’s website with information about organisations work, new initiatives & relevant community information.
  • Maintain North Wall CDP’s Facebook Page Twitter account. Regularly update with organisations work, events and relevant community information.
  • Liaise with senior staff regarding permissions to share information and photographs e.g. with other community groups, government providers or on social media.
  • Liaise with Management & Childcare Coordinator for updates to be shared via Social Media and NWCDP website.
