Job Summary / Purpose:
To deliver LPG in metered and bulk deliveries direct from the refinery to Flogas customers and sites throughout the country.
Job Overview
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be delivering bulk LPG / LNG to our customers and Flogas depots across the country directly from the refinery. The role may involve weekend and nigh-time working, depending on business requirements. The successful candidate will ideally be refinery trained; possession of a refinery pass would be desirable.
Job Outline
§  Carryout Daily vehicle checks as per company works instructions
§  Re-fuelling of vehicle
§  Loading the vehicle in the refinery in accordance with their site procedures.
§  Deliveries at customer premises in accordance with customer and site procedures
§  Off-loading at Flogas sites, involving some manual handling with the connecting and disconnecting of the delivery hoses in accordance with site operating instructions.
§  Long haul HGV driving – Nights out may be required
§  Contracted 45 Hour working week – flexible approach as Overtime will be required
§  Working at controlled DCD Sites
§  Flexible in driving other types of vehicles as required (Rigids)
§  Comply with road transport and Tachograph regulations
§  Meet Flogas driver performance standards
Person Specification
·  Must hold an LGV Class 1CE License
·  Possess an ADR in Tank with minimum class 2 gases
·  Driver CPC
·  Sound knowledge of Drivers hours and Tachograph regulations
·  Must have experience driving articulated vehicles
·  Refinery pass would be an advantage
·  Articulated tank experience would be an advantage
·  Must be committed to provide excellent customer service
·  Reliable
·  Flexible
·  Honest and trustworthy
A Criminal Record (CRB Check) is essential to this post.
