Pets First Animal Hospitals are looking for veterinarians to join our teams in Fort Myers and Estero, Florida! New grads and experienced vets are welcomed!
We are a growing, multi-location, small animal general practices in Southwest Florida. Our hospitals serve the communities in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres, Bonita Springs, Estero, and Naples.

We are active in the community and work closely with Love Is Fur Ever Dog Rescue and Bonnets for Abigail to help shelter animals needing reconstructive surgery.

About the Estero location - Pets First Wellness Center:
· Up-to-date facility with 3 exam rooms, 2 treatment areas, exceptional surgery suite, hospitalization wards, and grooming.
· Complete pharmacy with a large inventory of established pharmaceuticals as well as many of the latest developments.
· Digital x-rays and all radiographs are sent to a specialist for confirmation and education.
· Isoflurane anesthesia, Cardell Touch monitoring equipment, orthopedic surgical tools, ultrasonic dental equipment, and digital dental x-rays.
· We use eVet Practice's cloud-based software. Finish your medical records on the beach or in the comfort of your home with access across all devices. Tablets and televisions for educational opportunities are located in every exam room!
· In-house laboratory capabilities for complete blood count, serum chemistry, total thyroid, clotting profiles, urinalysis and sedimentation, and common antigen/antibody tests. We work with Antech as our external laboratory.
· We are conveniently located off of I-75 near Corkscrew Road in a complex with other veterinary professionals that offer specialty services and a 24-hour emergency care center.
About the Fort Myers location - Pets First Animal Hospital:

As an Associate Veterinarian, it’s about the opportunity to contribute your unique skills and expertise to our team deliver red carpet service to our patients, clients and team members by:
· Practicing ethical veterinary medicine according to all applicable laws and codes.
· Using evidence-based medicine, education, and experience to provide the highest quality preventive care, diagnosis and treatment services for every pet you see.
· Performing all common surgeries, including use of all standard medical instruments, and equipment.
· Partnering with clients to plan follow-up visits, provide home-care instructions, and education to ensure the long-term health of their pets Maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
· Fostering an effective veterinary support team by sharing your medical standards, exhibiting ethical practices, and your unique veterinary knowledge and experience.
