Job Title: MARKETING/COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

Location: HEADQUARTERS OFFICE

Candidates Must Meet the Following Requirements:

Prefer a Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing/Journalism and 1 year experience

Prefer experience in a cooperative or utility environment.

Must have the ability to communicate the cooperative’s message on all social media platforms Must have the ability to assist in the coordination of design and photography of printed materials and distribution at completion

Public relations experience as well as video production and website design desirable.

Must possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to coordinate people, resources and have the ability to set priorities while handling multiple projects

Must possess ability to effectively interact within the organization, as well as with members, vendors and the media.

Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, public speaking and presentation skills essential.

Physical Demands: Limited physical effort required. Occasional lifting and carrying of 10 to 30 pounds.

Mental/Visual Requirements: Continuous visual attention and manual dexterity required to use the computer system and application programs.

Environmental Conditions: Usual office environment. Driving in service area for events and deliveries. Occasional travel required (some overnight). Occasional night or weekend hours may be required.
