Job Description Summary:

A key role in the site finance team responsible for managing general ledger management accounting, divisional reporting and statutory returns.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Responsible for preparation of the statutory accounts , VAT/EC sales/National statistics reporting

·  Responsible for AR & AP ledgers (transactional activity outsourced to Shared Services)

·  Responsible for accuracy and integrity of UNVL account and fixed asset ledger

·  Timely and accurate cash flow forecasting and reporting

·  Preparation of monthly journals and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts

·  Responsible for intercompany balances and timely reconciliations during month end

·  Support payroll and headcount reporting

·  Support corporate forecasting and budgeting process

·  Maintain clean audits and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, together with the completion of the associated HQ / statutory returns

·  Ensure compliance with Goodrich accounting policies and procedures in line with US GAAP

·  Business partner members of the Site Leadership team to ensure strong financial controls

·  Support continuous improvement and ACE deployment through active participation on Lean Events, Workshops and Continuous Improvement activities. Proactively seek to identify opportunities for improvement and act as the Finance representative on ACE & continuous improvement activities.

Job Holder Requirements:

·  Qualified accountant (ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA)

·  Flexible team member with commitment to the success of the function and organisation

·  Experience of SAP and Hyperian Financial Management systems

·  Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel skills

·  Experience in a manufacturing environment desirable but not essential

·  Ability to influence senior management to adopt standard process

·  Ability to make timely and effective decisions

Security Clearance:

·  Right to work in the United Kingdom.
