Job Title: Sales Advisor (FT or PT)

Reporting To: Branch Management Team

1.  Primary Objectives

·  Support the Management team by building the brand and its image through;

-  Engaging customers with our key messages and values

-  Keeping up to date with product knowledge and new training initiatives

-  Behaving and dressing as a Seasalt Brand Ambassador at all times

·  To monitor and maintain overall environment within branch; visual merchandising, presentation, cleanliness of branch

·  To achieve personal sales targets and KPI’s in line with Branch Objectives

2.  Main Tasks and Key Areas of Work

Commercial Sales Advisor

Support the delivery of a successful branch through proactive and reactive approaches to seasonal and weather related peaks and troughs, and an omni-channel approach to sales and customers.

·  Assist with adhoc projects as required

·  Be pro-active in expanding and promoting the Seasalt brand and assisting at peak training times and branch events

·  To support the opening of new branches – people, resources, operational plans

·  Achieve Data Collection KPI

·  Carry out Daily/Weekly/Monthly Checks as required

·  Reading and digesting Shipping forecast and all other Branch communications

Personal and Team Development

·  To support with induction of new team members as required,

·  To support in motivating your branch team, focussing on behaviours, standards, training

·  To be responsible and proactive in personal development

·  To support the achievement of branch objectives, sales and budget targets

·  To partake in healthy competition within branch

·  Responsible for reporting H&S issues to branch management as they arise


Customer Service

·  To promote excellent Customer Service standards at all times

·  To achieve KPI targets through mystery shopper and Raving Fan reviews

Sales Targets

·  To support achievement of branch sales targets and set KPI’s

Visual Merchandising/Windows

·  To support the monitoring of branch standards and work with VM Anchor and Field VM Co-ordinator/Window Team/ Cluster Manager/HoR where required

·  To support all VM/Window communications and action as required, supporting in-branch VM anchors

3.  Scope of Authority

·  Refunds (up to £50) and exchanges

·  CAT orders

Senior Sales responsibility

·  Key holder to open and close down store

·  Cashing up responsibility and ownership

·  Driving/supervising team for the day

4.  Other Specific Requirements of the Post

·  Keep confidential all knowledge of company business, finance and statistics.

·  To represent Seasalt as a Brand Ambassador

·  Ability to work additional hours to suit the needs of the business.
