Job title: People Services Administrator

Accountable to: People Services Manager

Salary: £18,000 - £19,000 per Annum

Hours of Work: 40 Hours per Week

Place of Work: Highfield Park (with occasional travel in North Wales andNorthern England)

Key Relationships: Managers, employees, trade unions, payroll, finance and Occupational health

providers.

Purpose of the role:

To be part of the People Services Team supporting all areas of the business in HR issues including recruitment, absence reporting, annual leave entitlements and contract variation. The post holder/s will ensure that systems are updated appropriately and accurately.

1. Duties and Responsibilities

1.1Assist in day to day administration within the office including answering internal and external queries by telephone and email.

1.2Scanning and filing of documents

1.3Generating standard correspondence

1.4Maintenance of Snowdrop HR system including input of a range of information and documentation

1.5Giving general, simple advice to managers and staff on a range of subjects including HR policies and processes.

1.6Generate and provide basic HR reports.

1.7Support recruitment activity including collation of applications, scheduling of interview and assessments, administration of job advertisements and on boarding of recruits.

1.8Support the People Services team with project work or miscellaneous tasks

1.9Monitor driving license and DBS renewal

1.10Administer DBS checks

1.11Monitor absence and issue appropriate reminders to line managers in line with the sickness absence process.

1.12Take minutes during investigations

1.13Daily use of a number of HR workforce systems

1.14To ensure that all paper and electronic filing systems are kept up to date
