JOB PURPOSE
  • To assist in the positive promotionof Adviza to new and developing markets. To ensure effective and timely communication to all of Adviza’s stakeholders (internal and external). A particular focus is on helping to drive sales for Adviza’s new commercial offerings to individuals.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contributes creative ideas to marketing & communication plans and activities.
  • Conducts digital marketing activities for the organisation, utilising the organisation’s websites, e-mail communications and social media accounts.
  • Uses analytics to evaluate the success and reach of digital activities.
  • Works to improve SEO for the organisation and its key products.
  • Books and monitors online advertising.
  • Updates the Adviza website using the content management system, liaising with our web agency on more complicated changes.
  • Assists with the production of online video content and the generation of news and blog items.
  • Contributes to the developments and further build of the Adviza website.
  • Works with the Sales Admin team to ensure the Adviza online shop is updated and functioning.
  • Collates content for the Adviza e-newsletters.
  • Assists with the production of promotional and publicity materials, including writingand proof reading as required.
  • Assists with conducting market research and customer satisfaction activities.
  • Regularly liaises with key suppliers: web, design and print agencies.
  • Generates press releases and proactively looks for media opportunities. Liaises with local and trade media regarding events and other important company news.
  • Tracks current affairs and news relating to identified issues (e.g. young people’s issues and products and services on offer by other organisations or in other regions).
  • Maintains and updatesmarketing databases and carries out marketing admin tasks.
  • Prepares database information for reporting purposes.
  • Updates the company intranet and contributes to other internal communication mechanisms such as the company e-newsletter.
  • Responds to marketing telephone calls and email enquiries, liaising with other staff across the company as necessary to compile responses.
  • Administration for the staff marketing group - coordinating attendance and generating meeting paperwork.
  • Any other duties required by the Head of Support.

KEY CRITERIA / ESSENTIAL
(Minimum Requirements) / DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE / Degree ( or equivalent) in a marketing related subject
Experience of research work gained through educational studies or job role / Experience of marketing and communications work, including work placement or unpaid work experience
COMPETENCE SUMMARY
(Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, Experience) / Experience and understanding of digital communications including e-mail systems, websites and social networks.
Ability to think creatively and contribute ideas for the marketing of products and services, ensuring they are appropriate and effective in reaching specificcustomer groups
