Intensive Support Data/ Quality Assurance Analyst

REPORTS TO: Intensive Support Impact Manager
JOB PURPOSE
  • Oversee the collation and analysis of data on intensive support work
  • Coordinate the implementation of the intensive support data dashboard

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain and regularly update Intensive Support excel dashboards designed for team leaders and regional managers
  • Perform other regular data analytics relating to intensive support work
  • Liaise with other data collection and reporting functions in Adviza, across all delivery areas
  • Liaise with platform providers (eg Career Vision, Cognisoft) to ensure the Intensive Support data dashboard is implemented appropriately
  • Work with the Intensive Support Impact Manager to develop specs for tendering for externally contracted work and play a significant role in selection for them.
  • With the Intensive Support Impact Manager, establish with Impetus PEF the evidence requirements for each strand in the Project Plan, propose how these can be met through the IYSS and Profile databases and monitor compliance
  • Communicate data requirements to both delivery staff and liaise with other Adviza and Bucks MI teams
  • Train staff in data recording requirements for the data dashboard
  • Monitor the quality of data entered on to databases for take up by the dashboard.
  • Work closely with members of the intensive support project team
  • Respond to adhoc data questions and generate data reports as and when required

REPORTS TO: Intensive Support Impact Manager
KEY CRITERIA / ESSENTIAL / DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE / Significant experience of handling and processing large data sets
Experience ofrecording on CRM databases, ideally to include either IYSS or Profile.
Experience of performing regular data analysis, including generating reports from CRM databases.
Substantial experience of Microsoft Excel to analyse and present data effectively. / SQL experience
Experience in using SPSS, R, Crystal, SSRS or other statistical software packages.
Experience in Microsoft Access.
A computer related qualification at NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
Project Management experience
COMPETENCE SUMMARY
(Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, Experience) / A good working knowledge of compiling and using relational database structured query language.
Ability to make presentations and deliver training on computer systems, taking into accountdiffering levels of knowledge and ability.
Effective written and oral skills, and the ability to relate to people at a range of levels and
take an influencing role in terms of more effective ways of working.
Demonstration of flexibility and initiative and the ability to plan and manage own workload. / An understanding of Adviza Service operations and some training background e.g. experience of mentoring or coaching, either in one-to-one situations or in groups.
Experience of intensive delivery (eg Careers/ Personal Adviser, Youth Worker) to understand the work being monitored through the dashboards
