Job Description - Administration Assistant, Marketing

Business Context

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, the primary function of this position

is to support the marketing & sales team through prompt, accurate and efficient

administrative support.

Core Responsibilities

Provide timely administrative support to Sales & Marketing Manager. This will

include:

•general administration duties

•travel planning assistance

•liaison with Customers re. visits and diary management

Attend weekly sales meeting and drive actions as required

Help to create and produce relevant field sales materials, presentations and

Promotions.

Ensure adequate supply of marketing publications are available to sales team

Answer customer telephone calls, mindful of helping to build and maintain

customer relationships.

Manage Company social networking feeds, in line with marketing strategy

Help to plan and host Corporate marketing events, within budget and agreed

Timeframe.

Key knowledge / skills / experience required

  • Must be educated to minimum of GCSE level, Grade 4 in Maths & English
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft word and PowerPoint software.
  • Demonstrate technical understanding of how social networking can assist

corporate marketing strategy

  • Demonstrate clear and effective communication skills (both oral & written)
  • Must have excellent organisation skills - of self, administration and events.
  • A second language may be an advantage but not essential.
