Commercial truck driver(without hazmat certification)

Job Summary: The Commercial Truck Driver is responsible for the transport of lubricant materials to customers, and for providing exceptional customer service.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: NOTE: Brewer Oil Co. unilaterally may change the requirements of this job description at any time. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. These include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Regularly drive within the state of New Mexico, and occasionally to bordering states such as Texas and Colorado
- Perform daily inspection of truck, and document any problems in need of repair
- Ensure that the truck is in good and safe running condition
- Responsible for the load of lubricants until it is transferred to the customer dealership
- Follow the daily route schedule to customer sites
- Drive safely and follow all safety driving procedures
- Ensure that customer invoice is given at time of delivery
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Minimum high school graduate, or equivalent
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience
- Must have valid commercial driver’s license and maintain insurability
- Familiar with moving and loading equipment
- Knowledge in operation of lift gate on the truck

- Must have sufficient strength and manual dexterity to operate power equipment
- Sitting for extended periods of time while driving throughout the state of New Mexico, and to bordering states such as Texas and Colorado
- Regular daily use of slip resistant shoes preferred
- Must use personal protection equipment
- Must be able to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand, crouch, climb ladders, and perform various types of manual labor
