Jim Robertson Child Support Enforcement Scholarship
Benefits:
Scholarship of $1,000.00 will be awarded to the top applicant. This is a nonrenewable scholarship and must be applied for yearly.
Eligibility:
- Kansas resident attending high school senior OR full or part time college student planning on attending any two or four year community college, university or vocational school.
- The applicant or applicant’s relative must have paid their KCSEA membership dues for the current year (07/01/2017-06/30/2018) by the deadline. However, it should be noted that people who were members in the year 7/01/2014-6/30/15 have had their membership extended through the current period due to KCSEA not holding conferences the past few years.
- Intention of pursuing a career which impacts children and families. This rationale shall be explained in the application essay.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher; proof verified via counseling office.
- If a college student, a copy of your transcript for the previous semester is required.
Selection Criteria:
This scholarship will be awarded based on the applicant’s eligibility as well as originality of answers.

Winner Notification:
- The Jim Robertson Child Support Enforcement Scholarship Winner will be notified by July 15, 2017.
- The scholarship will be presented upon proof of enrollment in a two or four year junior college, university, or vocational school (verified by registrar).
- The scholarship will be presented upon providing proof of earning a 3.0 GPA or higher.
