What caused a rich man to beg?

Pre-2nd grade: The rich man lost all his possessions when he died.

Grades 3-4: The rich man saw all that Lazarus had in heaven as a result of his faith

in Jesus.

Grades 5-6: The rich man was in agony in the fires of hell and there was no relief.

Pray:

What is the world to me with all its vaunted pleasure

When you, and you alone, Lord Jesus, are my treasure?

You only, dearest Lord, my soul’s delight shall be;

Grades 3-4: He thought it would cost him everything he owned to get to heaven.

Grades 5-6: He discovered he hadn’t kept all the commandments. He was

breaking the first by loving money more than God.
