PROFESSIONAL FINANCIAL EXPERIENCE

KITSAP BANK – Port Orchard, WA, SVP-Equipment Finance 2005 to 2008
 Recruited by Kitsap Bank to start up their Equipment Finance Division in January 2005.
 Established credit policy and guidelines for the Division. Updated the credit policy when market condition changes were evident.
 Reviewed all financial information to establish partnership programs with lease brokers.
 Responsible for purchase of over $45 million in leases over 3+ years.

 Managed portfolio performance and all collection activity.

 Researched viability of Small Business Resource Center for marketing to and funding of loans to Small Businesses in banks footprint.
AMERICAN RIVER BANK – Sacramento, CA, Senior Vice President 1999 to 2005

 Recruited in 1999 to start up the banks first subsidiary, First Source Capital a lease finance company that funded transactions in the banks footprint and through lease brokers throughout the

United States.

 For strategic growth purposes First Source Capital merged into American River Bank in January 2004.

 Management of banks Equipment Finance operations to include equipment leases/loans, portfolio management, underwriting and development of customer, vendor and broker relationships.

 Member of the Senior Management Team of the bank and responsible for part of the annual strategic planning goals of the bank.

AC Financial Services – Davis, CA, President 1994 to 1999

Managed the Equipment Lease and Asset Based Funding relationships. Developed the strategic business plan and directed the implementation of the plan.

Provided alternative funding to customers of banks that were being required to end their bank relationship due to non-performance.

Responsible for large credit presentations to underwriters.

Provided business and financial consulting to small and mid sized business on a retained basis.

Union Bank of CA – Sacramento, CA. VP – Commercial Loans 1983 to 1985

Recruited during Northern California growth phase of bank to provide Commercial Loans to businesses and provide the Region with International Banking expertise.

Responsible for a book of business of over $50 million.

Developed many new meaningful relationships in the Sacramento and Stockton marketing areas including a rice farmer co-operative and a major fertilizer importer and marketing company.

Provided the data and plan for the bank to open the new Regional Office in Stockton, located premises, arranged the lease and began hiring staff.

Bank of America – California and International Assignments 1967 to 1983

Career Highlights

In 1971 selected as one of six California Operations Officers to be recruited by the bank for international assignments.

After my first assignment in Jakarta, Indonesia, being offered a position in London, England at the banks International Financial Center.

Becoming the Manager of the banks Cayman Islands Branch. This was very much a turnaround effort as the banks internal auditors had been very critical of the operations.

Offered a credit position in San Juan, Puerto Rico Branch. This branch grew from zero assets to $600 million in four years.

While in Puerto Rico I was also the Site Project Manager for the banks $125 million purchase of the assets of Caribbean Finance Company, an auto finance company. This company became a subsidiary of BAMERICAL a mortgage and finance company in Puerto Rico owned by Bank of America. I remained in the company for two years as the banks designated management representative and was the Assistant Secretary of the Subsidiary.

When I returned to California I was a Vice President in one of the newly organized Corporate Banking Groups that managed the larger loan relationships throughout California.

Additional Experience

Recruited by one of my customers at Union Bank to be the General Manager of a Farm Supplies company from 1985-1991. President of a Turf & Ornamental Supplies Distribution Company from 1991-1994.

I have been a Director for a major Western Agricultural Association, been on an advisory board for a Multi-National agricultural manufacturer/distributor and been a presenter at a regional meeting of the National Association of Equipment Lease Brokers.
