Member of a multidisciplinary treatment team on an adult inpatient psychiatric ward. Responsible for conducting the civil commitment evaluations, filing the court petitions, and providing the expert testimony for this population in regard to involuntary civil commitment at the hospital. Provided group psychotherapy, constructed treatment plans, and conducted ongoing clinical evaluation for this population. Represented the ward in regard to determining appropriate direct admissions and patient transfers within the hospital.
09/02 – 04/04 Special Commitment Center (Steilacoom, WA)
Court-ordered forensic psychological evaluations on sexually violent predators. Evaluations for whether criteria met as a sexually violent predator and for whether conditional release to the community is recommended (versus total confinement).
