Description / ‘In the Name of God Amen…In the first place I do bequeath my Soul to God hopeing for forgiveness of all my Sins through the Merrits and Meditation of Jesus Christ my blessed Lord and Saviour And my Body to a Decent Christian Burial’
Bequests:
-  To brother Francis Tinny ‘my Two Best Coats And Two best Waistcoats and my best Breeches And Two Best hatts. And One Shilling in money to be Deliver’d him if Demanded In One Week After my Decease. But as I do hire tell that he is Gone Abroad And not knowing Whereover he may Return or not I do order that if he Dont return in One Year And half after my Decease that my Executor And Executrix Shall Sell it And Give the money that they make of it between my Two Sisters And my Other Brother Share and Share Alike And if he Returns after that he is to have Only One Shilling’
-  To brother Joseph Tinny one guinea [£1 one shilling], to be paid when he reaches 21 years.
-  To sisters Grace and Elizabeth Tinny one guinea each to be paid one year after testator’s death.
-  To Jacob Grigg’s children [not named] one guinea to be paid one year after testator’s death, share and share alike.
-  To ‘my Two Trusty and Well Beloved Freinds’, Stephen Buckingham of St Dennis and Joan Robins daughter of William Robins of St Dennis, ‘All the Rest Residue And Remainder of my Creditts and Effects of Any Kind or Nature whatsoever it may be’.
