Acted as the data architect for the data conversion team on the Health Exchange project for the State of Arkansas. Defined the approach that the team was to use for integration of the state's systems with the Curam Social Program Management Program (Curam).

The source systems resided on IMS and VSAM platforms. Each source system and Curam were documented with a source system description (for the state systems) or a data dictionary (for Curam). This documentation was then used to develop physical data models for each data interface. These physical data models were then used to develop a corresponding logical data model. An evergreen Common Integration Model (CIM) to support the re-use of the various data interfaces was started. The CIM is used to develop a Canonical Model for use by the integration implementation teams.

Developed source system descriptions, physical data models, logical data models for data sources that were to be integrated with. Began development of the CIM.
