The curriculum includes major writing projects, multi-modal mini-assignments, and a final portfolio that includes in-depth reflective responses to the Writing Program Administrators’ Outcomes Statement for First-Year Composition and to eight habits of mind.

and culturally influenced elements of horror through several writing exercises cumulating in three short

stories with corresponding workshops.
