JABGA Youth Show rules

  1. All JABGA Sanction Show rules and ABGA Sanction Show rules apply.
  2. All animals are subject to inspection by the show committee. Any animal showing any sign of illness or disease will not be allowed to show, and will be asked to be removed from the premise immediately.
  3. Poor sportsmanship will not be tolerated. Poor sportsmanship includes: disrespect of show officials and staff; disrespect of show judge; abusive treatment to animals; disrespect of other showmen/showgirls. A result of this infraction may include stripping of placement in show or being asked to leave premise.
  4. Owner of the animal must be the one to show the animal except if the owner has more than one animal in a class or has a physical limitation that won’t allow the owner to show in that class.A result of this infraction may include stripping of placement in show or being asked to leave premise.
  5. All arena rules must be followed.
  6. Showmanship exhibitors may use any animal they wish for showmanship, however the animal must be shown in one of the judged classes.
  7. Any youth with mental or physical disabilities need help or needs someone to show their goats, the youth that shows or helps them must be a JABGA member
  8. All animals shall be shown at the owner’s risk. ETGRA, ETGRA Youth and Whites Park Expo Center will not be responsible for any damages incurred by exhibitors or visitors. No dogs are allowed in show arena or pen area. Parents will be responsible for the actions of their children.
  9. Vendors: Vendors are welcome. There will be a $35.00 charge to display or sell your wares or services, or you can make an item donation of that approximate value to the raffle table.
  10. The show committee reserves the right to decide upon and resolve any problems which may not be directly addressed in these show rules or those of JABGA. Their decision will be final. Making an entry shall indicate an exhibitor’s acceptance to abide by all the rules herein stated
  11. Judging will begin PROMPTLY AT 9:00AM. All animals must be checked in by 8:00am. Please plan to arrive no later than 6:30am on Saturday May 13th, 2017. The Expo center will be open Friday at 10:00am early arrival and check-in. Entries will not be accepted day of show. You can pay morning of show; entry form must be turned in by 10pm Friday May 12th, 2017. PLEASE BE ON TIME

  1. Pen: There will be NO PEN FEE. Animals must be checked in before being penned
  2. Entry fee: $20 per animal for entriespaid & postmarked by May 6th 2017. NO EXCEPTIONS. Or you can email entry form and pay via PayPal no later than May 11th to get early entry fee. Late entry fee (postmarked & paid after May 6th, 2017). NO Entries WILL BE ACCEPTEDDAY OF SHOW. Substitutions will be allowed at a cost of $5.00 per substitution provided that substitutions are made before the beginning of the show and will not be allowed once check-in is complete. You may only substitute your animal with another of your animals. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS OF ENTRY FEES. To pay by paypal email entry form and a reply will be sent with the amount owedand instructions for payment. If payment is not received by early entry deadline the full payment will be expected at check in.
