Development, University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Ranked 2nd nationally by U.S. News and World

Administratively responsible for CACREP accredited programs offering M.S. and Ed.S. degrees in School Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, College Counseling and Student Affairs, and Couple and Family Counseling; and the Ph.D. degree in Counseling and Counselor Education. Manage 10-11 faculty members, a departmental administrative assistant, and 28-30 Graduate Assistants.

2001-2008 Director, Counseling and School Psychology Laboratory,

Mississippi State University. Administratively responsible for all aspects of running laboratory that provided training opportunities for graduate students and served the public by providing low cost psychological services. Provided administrative supervision, case assignment, established policy and oversaw expenditures for equipment, managed budget, oversaw psychical property, and coordinated faculty use of facilities. Provided administrative supervision to 4-5 Graduate Assistants and hourly employees.

2000-present Private Practitioner, Conduct a part-time counseling practice at Triad Counseling and Clinical Services, LLC serving individuals, couples and families presenting a variety of developmental and mental health concerns.

1991-1996  Intake & Assessment Counselor, Charter Hospital of Greensboro.

Evaluated adult and adolescent clients regarding level of psychiatric care needed. Consulted with physicians and community professionals regarding admissions arrangements and/or outpatient treatment planning.

1992-1994 Mental Health Counselor, Charter Hospital of Greensboro. Provided outpatient counseling services to clients presenting a range of clinical concerns. Created treatment plans, formulated and executed interventions, and made appropriate referrals for additional services as needed.
