Notes on Easter Camp

Easter Camp start time is 10am and finish at approx 4pm

It can be attended for all three days or just on a daily basis, but please indicate on the application form.

There will be no lunch provided but there will be a chip van in attendance. Coffee and tea will be available in the kitchen, so please feel free to go and make a cup at any time. We would be grateful for any contributions of traybakes etc. so that members and their families can help themselves during the day!

We would request all members to be correctly dressed if possible, (jacket and tie in morning, sweatshirt in afternoon) but this will depend on weather conditions. If the weather is cold/wet please make sure you have a warm/waterproof coat. All hats must be tagged. If you have a new hat, or are a new member, please get Shirley McCombe (Assistant DC) to check and tag your hat. Back protectors will be required if weather conditions permit cross-country access.

Ponies will stand on trailers or lorries at lunchtime, so if parents are unable to stay please make sure the pony has somewhere to go, i.e. in a friend’s trailer.

Please make sure you have a filled haynet for ponies at lunchtime and bring a bucket to water them, and small grooming kit to brush them before afternoon ride.

If the parent is unable to stay please ensure that there is another responsible adult in charge of your child, and please inform the secretary who this person is before you leave.
