Hi everyone,

I've heard that you all had a couple of questions about the Vision Walk in NYC, so I wanted to get in touch and give you all of the information that I have:

About the Walk:

The walk is on October 21st in Central Park. Registration begins at 11am and goes until the walk starts at 12pm. I know that some of the high schoolers are taking the PSATs that day, so hopefully that gives everyone enough time (I know it's pushing it a little though). To get to the meeting/registration area, enter the park at 72nd Street and Central Park West and look for the Bandshell (a large stage with a huge shell around it- the site of Summer Stage if that helps). Like I said, the walk starts at 12pm. If the kids have their Camp Towanda Fights Blindness shirts, they should wear those... otherwise CampTowanda trip shirts, so that we can all find each other.

To Do in Advance:

To sign up for the walk and raise money (which we want our team to do of course!), go to Click on the VisionWalk logo and then the New York, NY walk on Oct. 21st. Choose to join an existing team and then type in "Camp Towanda Fights Blindness"... (that's the name of our team). From there, you should find information on how to register for our team and how to raise money. Please encourage all of the walkers to try to raise at least some money, as this is the goal of the walk (in addition to having a big Towanda playdate).

Of course, all family and friends are welcome to join our team and to walk with us on Oct. 21st.

If anyone has any other questions, please don't hestitate to get in touch with me.

Thanks,

Kraz
