Deployment: Fifth West Army Artillery Reserve is deployed to the rear of Fifth (Guard) Infantry Corps, with Second West Army Artillery Reserve deployed to its left flank.

Orders: Commit maximum of One (1) artillery unit from each artillery reserve per turn.

SPECIAL RULES FOR FIRST WEST ARMY: Each turn, roll 1d10. On a die roll that is equal to or less than the number of the current turn, Kutaisov has left his command to lead an infantry charge. On that turn and all turns following, no unit of the First West Army Reserve Artillery may move unless it successfully passes a Morale Test every turn it chooses a Combat Move or Full Move as its order. If the unit fails the Morale Test, it cannot move at all, cannot fire at all, and defends in melee with a “-2” to represent that it is limbered and unable to defend itself properly. (This represents the difficulty experienced during the battle by the Russians when Kutaisov led an infantry charge and took himself out of the battle.)
