ITINERARY – BARCELONA & MADRID 11 DAY CLASSIC

MELBOURNE Tuesday 10

  • Arrive at Melbourne International Airport and board flight BA7309 which is a British Airways flight, this plane goes direct to London Heathrow Airport departing at 3:30pm.
  • Once you arrive at Heathrow airport (5:30 am) you will need to board BA 478 which will take you direct to Barcelona.

BARCELONA Wednesday 11

  • Depart Heathrow Airport at 7:25am and arrive in Arrive Barcelona at 10:30 am.
  • Clear customs and Immigration and depart Airport to Hotel via taxi.
  • Check In at 12:00 pm at the Hotel Gotico situated in the Gothic Quarter.
  • Twin room has been reserved for 6 nights.
  • Relax for the rest of the day

Thursday 12

  • Be ready by 11:00 am to depart for the Barcelona afternoon city sightseeing
  • You will be picked up by shuttle bus and transferred to Rhonda Universidad coach Terminal where you will meet up with your Tour group.
  • You will then return back to the Rhonda Universidad coach Terminal where you will be picked up and returned to your Hotel via shuttle bus once the Tour ends

Saturday 14

  • Be ready by 9:00 am to depart for the Montserrat half Day morning tour
  • You will be picked up via shuttle bus and transferred to Rhonda Universidad coach Terminal where you will meet up with your tour group.
  • You will then return back to the Rhonda Universidad coach Terminal where you will be picked up and returned to your Hotel via shuttle bus once the Tour ends

Monday 16

  • Check out of the Hotel Gotico at 11:00 am and head to Barcelona airport your own way to pick up your pre-booked vehicle from AVIS.
  • An Opel Vectra automatic, left hand drive has been reserved for you for 6 days
  • Transfer to Madrid where you will stay at the Hotel Palacio San Martin for 5 nights.
  • Check in at 1:00 pm where a Twin room has been reserved for you.

Saturday 21

  • Check out of the Hotel Palacio San Martin at 12:00 pm.
  • Arrive at Barcelona Airport 2 and half hours prior to departure.
  • Return the Opel Vectra back to AVIS at Barcelona Airport.
  • Board British Airways flight BA 481 departing Barcelona at 6:30pm
  • Arrive at Heathrow Airport at 7:45 pm and transfer to flight BA 7310 which departs at 10:05 pm and will take you direct to Melbourne.
  • Arrive back in Melbourne at 4:45 am local time and clear customs and formalities.
