PERSONAL FINANCE – GRAD REQUIREMENT

Please remember that as a part of your graduation requirement you're required to complete the RJUHSD online Personal Finance Course. This class must be completed in order to graduate. We recommend starting this course now and completing it sooner rather than later... don't put it off. If you have questions, please see your counselor or Mrs. Price.

CLUB / STUDENT BODY

SUPER SALE – JR PROM & SR BALL

The one day super sale for junior prom and senior ball tickets is happening during One Lunch on Monday, Feb 27th. You must have all your fees paid to be able to take advantage of this sale. If you are purchasing a ticket for a student who does not attend Oakmont, your bid must be completed and turned in to the office prior to purchasing your tickets. Junior Ball tickets are discounted at $20 Senior Ball tickets are discounted at $50 Students who attend Winter Ball, will receive two additional days to take advantage of this incredible deal.

Ever thought about serving as class president? If you think you would be great, we think you would be great. Packets are available in M-2 and must be completed by Monday, March 6th. Please see Mr. Moore if you have any questions.

COLLEGE & CAREER CENTER

RJUHSD LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM IS NOW OPEN
RJUHSD Local Scholarships are scholarships offered by local business and organizations to SENIORS in our district. All seniors are encouraged to apply. Students can log in to their Naviance Accounts or go to the OHS website more information. COMPLETED APPLICATIONS MUST BE RETURNED TO THE COLLEGE & CAREER CENTER NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH - 3:00 p.m. No Exceptions will be made for late scholarship applications!!!!

AP TEST REGISTRATION
Attention AP Students! AP Test registration is going on now. Be sure to sign up for your appropriate AP Exams before the final deadline date. Please go to the oakmont.org website for more information. The final day to register is March 17th.

JOB OPENINGS - GET PAID TO PLAY
The City of Roseville is currently accepting application for Recreation Aides, Day Camp Specialists, Lifeguards and Swim Instructors. To find out more about these positions and to apply visit roseville.ca.us/jobs Candidates must be a minimum of 14 years of age and have completed the 9th grade by June 2017.

CESAR CHAVEZ YOUTH LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

The Cesar Chavez Youth Leadership Conference is being held Saturday, March 11th from 8 am – 3 pm at the UC Davis ARC Pavilion. During this conference you can attend college admission, financial aid, and scholarship workshops. Free breakfast and lunch is provided. For more information visit: ucdavis.edu/sisepuede

BOYS STATE NOMINEES

Congratulations to Griffin Devine, Joseph O’Hair, Dzuy Nguyen, Spencer VanWoerkom and Albert Wilcox for being selected as one of five boys to compete for the title of Oakmont High School’s representative to Boys State. Boys State is a nationally recognized week-long program for model government and such a tremendous honor. If you see any of these students, be sure to congratulate them.

Seniors: the senior quote list is posted in the office window. If your name is not on the list, then you don't have a quote in. Come to room 405 if you would like a senior quote in the yearbook. You have until this Friday 2/24.
