The Association for Information Security (ISECA) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to apply world best practices in the field of Information Security at national level to provide assistance to the government in creating a safe and effective environment for conducting business online. We aim to educate and promote a high standard of professionalism in the area of information security, to increase public and business-sector awareness of information security issues, and to serve as the de-facto representative body for information security professionals. ISECA is headquartered in Sofia, Bulgaria.
To become an ISECA member, please complete the following steps:
- Fill in, sign, and return this Application Form
- Review and accept the Code of Ethics
- Attach a short, summarized version of your professional resume
- Pay the relevant membership fees
The membership committee will review your application and inform your of our decision in a timely fashion.

All members commit to fully support this Code of Ethics. Member who intentionally or knowingly violates any provision of Code will be subject to action by review panel, which may result in the revocation of membership.
As an applicant for membership and as a member of ISECA, I have in the past and will in the future:
- Perform all professional activities and duties in accordance with the law and the ethical principles;
- Promote good information security concepts and practices;
- Maintain the confidentiality of all proprietary or otherwise sensitive information encountered in the course of professional activities;
- Discharge professional responsibilities with due diligence and honesty;
- Not intentionally injure the professional reputation or practice of colleagues, clients, or employers;
- Support the establishment of and compliance with appropriate standards, procedures, and controls for information system.
Membership Fees
Please deposit the annual membership fee of 60 BGN (Sixty Bulgarian Leva) to the following account, and enclose a copy of the bank deposit slip.

Declaration
I hereby apply for membership in the Association for Information Security. I understand that the membership committee reserves the right to approve or reject the application of any individual. If admitted to the Association, I undertake to accept and support the Association’s goals and objectives, and to subscribe to the Code of Ethics. I understand that the application fee is not refundable after membership approval.
