Booking a course

To book a course, please send a copy of the completed booking form to AIM Awards via:

Booking On
If you wish to attend any of the courses listed at the top of this page, you must book on and receive confirmation from AIM Awards of your booking.

To book on, you must complete this form and return to the office, either by post for the attention of Cathy Brown or email to . These must be completed as one per delegate, per event. If these are not completed correctly, they will be returned for correction.

If the form has not been received within a week of the course start date, the booking will not be accepted and you will not be booked on to the course.

If a delegate attends a training session without having completed the outlined booking procedure, depending on the circumstances, one of the following outcomes will occur:

  • An administrative charge of £25 will be levied in addition to the course cost
  • If lunch is to be available for the course, lunch may not be available to that delegate
  • If the course is at maximum capacity, entry may be denied for Health and Safety reasons

Payment

If you do not include a cheque with your booking form, your centre will be invoiced for the full cost of the course. If you wish to pay via invoice, you must provide full details where indicated.

Delegate Cancelling of CoursesWithdrawal from any open course (chargeable or free)

  • Within ten working days of its commencement - £15 per person
  • Within five working days of its commencement - Full fee per person

Transfer of your place may be made free of charge to one other date; any subsequent transfers will incur a £10.00 administration fee. Transfers must be notified in writing least five working days prior to the course commencing. Transfers received after this period will be considered as a cancellation and our cancellation policy will be applied.

Substitutions may be made at any time prior to the commencement of the course.

Please note: Substitutions on Approved Internal Verifier workshops are not permitted.

Non-Attendance of a course

If you fail to attend a training course held by AIM Awards, and do not give any reason or warning for this, you may still be charged for the full amount of the session missed, and you may not be able to transfer your place. Any transfers allowed may incur an administration fee.

If you contact AIM prior to the start time of the course to inform them of your non-attendance, then you will not be charged and your place will be cancelled. You may be able to transfer this place to another session, but is subject to administration fees.

Cancellation Of Courses By AIM Awards /Changes To Course Content

AIM Awards reserves the right to alter any of the courses content without prior notice. AIM Awards also reserves the right to cancel a course at any time without liability. In these circumstances, delegates will be offered an alternative date, a credit note or a full refund.

Getting Here
AIM Awards cannot be held responsible for any costs of transportation for getting to our offices, whether due to delays, cancellations of the transport, cancellation of the course, or due to the delegate not following booking procedure.

There are various public transport links available that connect to our offices, which we would recommend to delegates, rather than driving, or using the park and ride facility. This is due to our limited amount of car parking at our offices (delegates must be aware that there are offices either side of the AIM Awards building and they need access to their own parking spaces. If you take up a space not assigned to AIM Awards, or your car is parked obstructively, you may be asked to remove it)
