CONTRACT Interreg IVB, Project Leader sustainable employment Ageing Drenthe
INVITATION TO SUBMIT QUOTATION
The Province of Drenthe is inviting you to submit a quotation for a framework contract - Content Support for the Interreg IV B project “iAge: e-Inclusion in Ageing Europe” for the province of Drenthe.”
CONTENT OF QUOTATION
The quotation should at least contain the following:
Fixed number of hours – The cost for providing a fixed number of working hours dedicated to
tasks stipulated under the job description for the support of the iAge project in the province of Drenthe
during the second part of the project iAge Drenthe, July 2013 - 2014
The quotation should be accompanied by an extensive CV of the employee being put forward for this
project. This employee should be available during the whole period. The quotation should also include
a fixed price for the following number of hours spread over 2013 -2014, starting as agreed between the contract agent and the Province of Drenthe.
Additional work: The costs for any work outside of the contract, should the number of hours exceed
the number of hours in the fixed contract, must be formally approved by the Province of Drenthe in
advance and must be specified per hour.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The North Sea Region Programme 2007-2013 is an EU programme focused on regional development
in the North Sea Region. More information about the Programme can be found on the Programme
website: iAge aims at stimulating the regional economic development of
regions with a strongly ageing population, using ICT and new technologies.
KEY FEATURES OF PROJECT RELEVANT WORK
- Preparation and management of the sub-partner meetings, including moderation and evaluation of the relevant contents of said partner meetings;
- Responsible for the activity plan, including planning for 2013 – 2014;
- Responsible for the iAge Drenthe partners half yearly reports on content to the Interreg IVB Secretariat and the monitoring of indicators;
- Responsible for knowledge sharing, dissemination and cross-overs in Drenthe;
- Responsible for process management (leading/creating overview/connecting participants in the sub-partner meetings)

CONTRACT AGENT COMPETENCES
Essential
Work experience – At least several years experience working at a fully professional level on issues
related to ageing. Also experience with process management.
Self employed status – The contract will have a freelance set-up, i.e. the contract agent must have a
self employed status in the country in which the person is registered for tax, including VAT and
company register.
Excellent writing skills in English
Network – Having access to stakeholders in the province of Drenthe is an advantage.
Expertise – Knowledge of the issues dealt with in the project, and knowledge on how these issues are
addressed at European level is an advantage
PRACTICALITIES
In addition to the specifications under the headline Content of Quotation; at least two relevant, up-to-date references, including examples of work experience, (preferably digital and with a website address) should be supplied.
The references and work examples need to confirm the work experience and competences stated in
the quotation.
All quotations will be assessed according to (1) relevance, (2) essential and desirable competences of
the agent, (3) overall costs and (4) submitted examples of work experience, including references.
All quotations submitted by mail before 12 July 2013 will be assessed.
