Procurement of BASIS and WAN Hardware for FABS Data Centres

The Directorate General MIS, Office of the Controller General of Accounts Islamabad invites sealed bids from reputed and eligible Firms/Suppliers/ Distributors/Agents, Active Tax Payer registered with the Sales Tax, Income Tax Departments and regularly filing Sales Tax and Income Tax Return and are directly authorized by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for supply, assembly, installation, configuration, Testing and transportation of following Basis, WAN Hardware, Machinery and Allied Equipment for FABS Data Centres in Office of the AGPR, Islamabad, Provincial Accountant General Offices Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta and DR Site FABS, Rawalpindi as per details given below:

2.Ad can be downloaded from CGA, FABS and PPRA websites i.e and or detailed tender document, containing terms and conditions, method of procurement, procedure for submission and opening of bids, bids forms/securities, bidder qualification, evaluation criteria, specifications, delivery schedule and checklist of documents for submission of bids etc can be obtained from office of the undersigned on payment through call deposit Receipt/pay order/demand draft amounting Rs. 1,000/- (Non refundable) in favor of DDO, Directorate General MIS, CGA. Bidders can quote bid price for one or any number of items published in the IFB-18. Work award will be given to the best lowest evaluated responsive bid(s) of the bidder for respective 11item(s) conforming to our technical specifications and evaluation criteria mentioned in the bidding document.
3.Bids under the “Single Stage-One envelope procedure” of Federal PPRA Rules 2004, i.e, marked as Technical Proposal and Financial proposal in one separate envelope clearly marked with IFB name & items Serial number on top right corner of the bid envelope to be placed in another single envelope while bid security money equivalent to 4% of total financial bid price in shape of pay order/demand draft/CD-R in favour of DDO, Directorate General MIS, CGA, will be received in person or through registered courier up to April16, 2018 (Monday) by 11:00 A.M andboth proposals (technical & financial) will be opened on same day i.e April 16, 2018(Monday)at 11:30 A.M inpresence of the bidders or their authorized representatives who may choose to attend the bid opening meeting as per venue given below:
i)Bid Venue: Committee Room, CGA office (6th floor), CGA
Complex, Old FBC Building, G-5/2, Islamabad.
4.Any bid found conditional (dollar fluctuation, purchase order cancellation charges etc), overwriting, false/forged document, received late and/or not accompanied by 4% bid security money of the total bid price of all quoted items by the bidder will be rejected on spot as per PPRA Rules 2004. Successful bidders will have to deliver, install, configure and test the Hardware and allied equipment at respective delivery stations. Bid price should be fixed and no additional transportation charges will be paid in this regard.No time extension in bid submission and delivery time will be granted in any case and bids not complying to the bid submission time, delivery schedule and other terms & conditions of bidding document will be rejected.
5. The Directorate General MIS, CGA reserves the right to accept or reject all bids in accordance with Federal PPRA Rules 2004.
