Follow-up on “old business”

Clarification on 3rd party – Flat rate: Attach full tuition to billing party/person

Early bird discount – check with LCC or MauiCC about setting up the discounts (Kacie); need to select cut-off date, then switch to regular charge/fee- need to implement in about a month

April 22 is Administrative Profession Day- Kualoa Ranch “movie set” tour

Front Office APT position will be posted this weekend or Monday, 4/20/15 in Work at UH site

C&C grant- Youth Services- youth offenders will have possible tuition if they come through their training & their offense will be wiped off- possible LCC & WCC workforce training- will be needing templates from coordinators on putting together a proposal

Preshess’ distribution of duties:

Facilities Maintenance – customized workforce training- contact Michael

Energy – Solar PV- customized workforce training- contact Michael; grant for PV training, Preshess will continue to help; SITN will still be Preshess

Destiny Course Master listie course numbering, sidebar, all approvals will still go to Michael

Course entries and section in Destiny- Dal

Security Guard- point of contact will be Jane

C3T enrollment forms- will go through Kathy ie Go farm, food service, Harriet

Ag timesheets- approved through Michael

Go Farm & Ag- point of contact Michael

Ag inquiries from the public- Nora Rodhi

Tuition revenue have increased, especially contract training

On-line Canvas (LMS) is in process- offering courses online; still needs to be compliant; Michael is meeting with Sue, potential casual hire- she has experience & will be a good resource ie moving curriculum into Canvas

KYA- consultant for master plan on campus- update on MAPSAC- the lawn by Bishop building is likely to go to State Hospital and will be a 4-storying building

Programs need to decide on how many offices, classrooms and storage space they will need

Ed-2-Go- in February the State Library has been offerering Ed-2-Go for free.

Course evaluation/surveys

Feedback: Difficult with contract training, personal enrichment

Demographic Survey – public is hesistant

Course evaluations- typo errors in numbering on the form

Using Scantron forms only (no yellow evals), fill in the blanks to be reviewed by coordinators, coordinators to work with the instructors in implementing into classrooms

Joseph’s (Alu Like student hire) last day- May 6th with CCE, but officially May 26 with Alu Like
