Monday:
- Introduction to Unit 10 Basic Needs, students will complete plants worksheet to review the plant life cycle and now to focus on what they need, discuss if there is a difference between what human needs and plant needs by creating a T-chart in Science Interactive Notebook, Think Central Unit 10: lesson 1 Plant Needs
- Watch video of plant’s needs students will complete what do plants need worksheet (wind does not need to be included), Science Fusion Workbook pages 245-252 (using gradual release of responsibility)
- Continue previous day activities (Science Fusion Workbook), students will create plant diagram craft
- Kahoot review needs of Plants
- Unit 10: Lesson 1 Quiz (additional question: what might happen if you kept a potted plant under a large cardboard box?)
