Introduction
This workshop is designed for anybody with an interest in hairdressing and who wishes to learn the basic skills and fundamentals of the industry. The skills learnt will give you the confidence to apply for employment as a junior in a salon.
Pre – requisition; Ideal for mature students looking for a career change, get a feeling for the hairdressing industry with this 2 day workshop.

WORKSHOP 2
Refresher Hairdressing Workshop
One Day Workshop Cost: £99.00
Introduction
This workshop is designed foranyone who has been out of the industry for a while and may need to brush up on their haircutting techniques. You will already have a substantial knowledge of the hairdressing world.
Workshop Course Content: -
This workshop is most varied as there is not a defined structure; this means that anything you feel you may need to brush up on will be your subject. If for example, you are a bit rusty on your basic layer or graduated bob, then this will be the haircut for you to concentrate on. There is an inter-active live demonstration.
Hairdressing Kit - £165.00 (We sell the kit or you can supply your own kit)
As you will already have had some salon experience you should not require a hairdressing kit, but should you need to, these are the necessary tools.

Barbering Workshop
One Day Workshop - Cost: £80.00
Introduction
This workshop is designed for those who already understand the basic fundamentals of cutting hair. Barbering is very different to ladies hairdressing mainly because of head shapes. Men prefer a masculine look, so therefore will have cleaner, sharper hairlines.
Workshop Course Content: -
We will be incorporating barbering with;
- Scissor over comb technique.
- Layering
- Club cutting
- Covering the handling and use of clippers.
- We will deal with the complications of head shapes, hairline patterns and crown growths
You will require the following hairdressing tools:-
Scissors
Cutting comb
Barbering comb
Hairdryer
Clippers with different sized attachments

WORK SHOP 4
Basic Haircutting Techniques
2 Day workshop – Cost:£199.00
Introduction
This workshop is designed for any age group with an interest to learn the basic fundamentals of haircutting techniques. It is essential to master basic cutting techniques before moving on to advanced stages.
Workshop Course Content: -
This workshop will give you a thorough understanding of how basic haircutting techniques are governed by head shapes, hair line growths, textures and face shapes.
The main haircuts which are paramount to learning the foundations are:
- One length trim
- Basic layer
- Long layer
- Classic Bob
The first day will comprise of Blockwork, including a demonstration of each haircut.
The second day you will have a choice of which 2 haircuts you wish to achieve a thorough understanding of.

Highlights, Lowlights and Slicing
Learn how to do perfect highlights, Lowlights and slices using foil
1/2 Day Workshop Cost: £50:00
Introduction
This workshop is designed for hairdressers either already working in the trade and need to perfect their foil highlighting techniques or for those who are new to the trade and wish to master the art.
Workshop Course Content: -
The art of producing the perfect highlight is by taking clean sections and weaving the hair accurately to the client’s personal needs. This ½ day workshop aims to give you the confidence to foil, weave and slice to perfection in a professional environment.
You will require the following hairdressing tools:-

Straightening and Curling
Learn to perfect your Straightening Techniques in ½ a day.
1/2 Day Workshop Cost: £45.00
Introduction
This workshop gives you an opportunity to learn how to get the best results from your straighteners using different techniques to acquire that certain look and wish to master the art of straightening and curling hair with the use of straighteners.

This ½ day workshop aims to give you the confidence to straighten and curl the hair to perfection in a professional environment.
