MARKETING FOCUS GROUP & PRESENTATION
GROUP PROJECT (2-4 PEOPLE PER GROUP)
Marketing- is the process of creating, promoting, and presenting a product or service to meet the wants and needs of consumers. The art of “selling” is the advertisement aspect of marketing.
The topic for class is Marketing and Advertising. Think of a new product or idea to sell. Your group is in charge of the creation of the new product or improvements to an existing product, promoting the product, and presenting the product (EXAMPLE: create your own technology tool –computer, phone, mp3,video game, etc. or a new restaurant, etc.- SOMETHING UNIQUE).
(SHOULD BE APPROPRIATE FOR CLASS).
YOUR GROUP WILL CREATE A 6 SLIDE POWERPOINT PRESENTATION ABOUT THIS NEW PRODUCT, IDEA OR IMPROVEMENT. YOUR GROUP WILL PRESENT THE POWERPOINT SLIDE SHOW TO THE CLASS. THE CLASS WILL BE AN AUDIENCE OF POTENTIAL INVESTORS THAT COULD FINANCIALLY SUPPORT YOUR NEW PRODUCT OR IDEA.
SLIDE 1- WHO IS IN YOUR GROUP (Names) AND WHAT IS THE NAME OF YOUR NEW PRODUCT, IMPROVEMENT, OR IDEA.
SLIDE 2- EXPLAIN YOUR PRODUCT OR IDEA WITH SPECIFIC DETAILS.
SLIDE 3- EXPLAIN WHY YOUR PRODUCT IS NECESSARY (THE NEED).
SLIDE 4-EXPLAIN THE FEATURES (FACTS) AND BENEFITS OF USING THIS PRODUCT.
SLIDE 5- WHO IS YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE FOR THIS PRODUCT AND WHY THAT PARTICULAR AUDIENCE.
SLIDE 6- HOW DO YOU ADVERTISE THIS PRODUCT OR IDEA? GIVE DETAILS OF THE AD ITSELF.

BE CREATIVE- YOU CAN ADD ADDITIONAL SLIDES, INFO, CLIP ART, VISUAL ENHANCEMENTS, HYPERLINKS, ECT as long as you presentation remains 2 to 3 minutes long.
