Internet Resources to Enhance Instruction

As promised at the “YouTube, Discovery and KomicsZone, Oh, My!” workshop at the NAAE Convention (thanks to workshop participants who helped add to this list already), here are a list of resources to engage students and incorporate technology in your classroom. This document is editable, so feel free to add your own helpful resources. If possible, please provide a brief description.

This is the Wetpaint Education Site with details on how to get an ad-free site for your educational use

Information for using animoto in education. 30 second clips are free to all. Extended clips are free for educators, plus password for your students to use.

You can create an account and organize playlists based on the classes/ topic areas you teach. Make sure you preview any items! When you conduct a search and find something, check out the “More by. . .” or “related videos” that come up on the right hand side of your screen
