Applications not following these instructions will be deemed technically ineligible and not be evaluated or funded.

  1. Submit thiscover application form.
  2. Submit a one- to two-page project synopsis that includes the project objectives, project overview and description, methodology, potential grant and publication outlets.
  3. Submit the budget form (last page of application). Research expenses only, including travel. This grant cannot be used for salary.
  4. Reviewers will rate applications based on the criteria outlined in the call for proposals:the goals; objectives; deliverables; the necessity of in person travel for the project; benefits to UW that are clearly articulated; and follow-up plans.
  5. If applicable, attach documentation of invitations and details of hosting arrangements and agreements with host institution(s) and/or colleagues abroad to demonstrate genuine advanced planning.
