Issue: Electronic Cigarettes
Summary: On July 28, 2015 the Board of Supervisors will introduce an ordinance amending County Code - Chapter 15, Article V - Regulation of Smoking in Workplaces and Enclosed Public Places.
The proposed amendments incorporate the regulation of electronic smoking devices into the current regulations for tobacco products in the workplace and in enclosed public places.

Yolo - County
Issue: Electronic Cigarettes
Summary: On July 28, 2015 the Board of Supervisors will receive a presentation regarding electronic nicotine delivery devices and electronic cigarettes.
The Board will also consider authorizing the Health and Human Services Agency to coordinate with County Counsel in developing a policy to prohibit the use of electronic nicotine delivery devices and electronic cigarettes in public places where California law prohibits the use of traditional cigarettes.

Pleasanton - City
Issue: Smoking Bans and Restrictions
Summary: On July 21, 2015 the City Council considered the introduction of an ordinance to amend Chapters 9.24 and 13.08 of the Municipal Code banning smoking in parks and on trails within the city.

Summary: On August 4, 2015 the City Council will consider a proposed ordinance repealing various tobacco advertising provisions, and amending other provisions to regulate the advertising and promotion of tobacco products and electronic cigarettes.

Summary: On July 27, 2015 the City Council considered an ordinance amending Section 11.15.010, Definitions, of Chapter 11.15, Tobacco Retailer Licensing, of the Municipal Code, to require a Tobacco Retailer License for the sale of any electronic smoking device or electronic smoking device paraphernalia.

Issue: Smoking Bans and Restrictions
Summary: On August 4, 2015 the City Council will consider an ordinance amending Section 9-20.050 (prohibition of smoking in unenclosed nonresidential places) to correct an omission in the smoking ordinance adopted on June 30, 2015 and prohibit smoking in outdoor service areas.

Summary: On July 28, 2015 the City Council adopted an ordinance amending Section 2.45.365 of the SeaTac Municipal Code related to tobacco products in City parks
