Exposé

Please submit an Exposé of your doctoral project. It should be about 5-10 pages in length and written in the language in which you plan to write your thesis (German/English/French). An Exposé should include your research question, hypothesis, theoretical approach, analytical design, research variables and methods and expected results.

Statement of Purpose

Attach a one-page statement in English or German, approximately 500 words in length, explaining why you feel this program is appropriate to your particular background, academic and career goals. Please be specific about your particular research interests and why you wish to pursue your graduate studies in Berlin, Germany. Your statement is an important part of the application. It should be clear, concise, and well crafted (the use of a typewriter or word processor is recommended).
