Thank you for considering support of the annual International Conference on Conflict Resolution Education (CRE), Developing and Implementing Culturally Inclusive Conflict Resolution Education Policies and Practices in K-12 and Higher Education,to be heldJune 13 - 16, 2014(Pre-Conference Trainings June 11 - 12) in Fairfax, Virginia at George Mason University.
With your financial contribution (and/or in-kind contribution as is the case for the pre-conference trainers and keynotes) and your assistance sharing information about the conference with potential attendees, we will be able to host thisevent which will bring together state and national policymakers and educators working to expand conflict resolution education, global citizenship and civic engagement and related topics at the K-12 and higher education level. Attendees will discuss success strategies for building infrastructure, innovations in policy development, program implementation, and how to address obstacles to success. There will be opportunities for college students, college/university faculty/staff/administrators, K-12 educators, youth serving agencies, prevention specialists, and state, local, national, and international policy makers to convene.
If you would like your funds to be allocated to sponsor/co-sponsor the June 12th College and University Networking Reception, the June 13th evening reception for all attendees, others’ participation in the conference –such as student scholarships from your institution (special rate of $30 per day per student), or for another specific purpose, please contact Jennifer Batton at 216-952-5609 or by email at .
